Mac Waves is looking for Work
Mac Waves is looking for paid work, research collaboration, commissions, or participation in an established project. The ideal environment would connect practical work with his principal research interests: human-dolphin communication, human-NBI interaction, and communication between different forms of intelligence.
Particularly welcome are opportunities with interdisciplinary research institutes, marine or cetacean research programs, human-AI laboratories, experimental education projects, and small advanced teams where practical skills and structural thinking are both useful.
Skills
Writing and editing: articles, research texts, website content, structural editing, proofreading, rewriting, and preparation of material for publication.
Translation: Polish, English, French and Spanish; basic Russian.
Web: HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, website structure, navigation, anchors, content organization, image placement, and independent digital publishing.
Research and modelling: information architecture, conceptual modelling, mapping complex subjects, organizing large bodies of material, and developing working structures from incomplete information.
Human-NBI collaboration: research, editing, translation, model development, prompt-based work, testing communication structures, and translating metaphors and visual concepts into forms usable by non-biological intelligence.
Visual communication: diagrams, maps, symbolic systems, conceptual drawings, simple technical illustrations, and presentation of complex ideas in clear visual form.
Computers: long practical experience with Windows systems from Windows 95 through current versions, and Macintosh systems from early generations to contemporary macOS.
Ocean and field experience: sailing, navigation, ocean swimming, body surfing, marine observation, and practical knowledge of ocean environments.
Project work: independent research, interdisciplinary collaboration, website publishing, documentation, organization of ideas, and development of projects from general vision to usable structure.
Ideal Collaboration
The work does not need to be directly connected with dolphin research. Mac Waves is open to any serious project where these skills can produce useful results. The ideal collaboration, however, would allow paid work and the longer research trajectory to support rather than exclude one another.
